PDG Helicopters own the most up to date version of the Cineflex V14 (version 3) featuring the Sony HDC-1500 14bit camera complete with Fujinon HA42 HD lens.
The Cineflex system uses the most advanced gyro technology available, digital signal processors constantly monitor vibration and work together with powerful motors to remove even the smallest vibrations, capturing amazing, rock solid HD video images. This advanced design utilizes an aluminum and carbon-fiber turret with full 5 axis stabilization and steerable roll axes.
The HDC-1500 camera is equipped with a newly developed three 2/3-inch type 2.2-megapixel HD CCD. Based on Sony HAD sensor technology and the latest on-chip lens structure, this new CCD offers a high sensitivity of F10 at 2000 lx and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio of 54 dB (typical). Our camera also includes the very latest Sony software upgrade that improves the light sensitivity even further, together with the latest hyper gamma curves. In addition to this performance, a wide variety of capturing rates including 1080/50i, 1080/60i, 1080/24P, 1080/25P, and 1080/30P are available. What's more, this CCD can capture top-quality 1080/60P.
The camera also offers fully uncompressed dual link 4:4:4 output.
The ultimate camera system needs the very best support kit and so our system features the awesome Panasonic BT-LH900 8.4" portable HD monitor for the front seat director and the latest Panasonic BT-LH1760 17" HD monitor for the operator/cameraman.
Our system comes complete with a Sony HDW-S280 HDCAM recorder, or 'tapeless' Pansonic P2/AVC-INTRA recorder and of course our own in-house aerial cameraman/operator Pete Jones.
Please note, 4:4:4 output & 1080/60p frame rates requires a Sony SRW-1 4:4:4 recorder or suitable hard drive recorder both available on advance request, please call for pricing.
